Instrument and Control Maintenance Techniques: Process Measuring Equipment (Measuring, Level, Flow, Temperature)
This unit develops an understanding of the function, operation and routine maintenance requirements associated with process measurement equipment: (pressure, flow and temperature). It is recommended that An Introduction to Instrument and Control: Process Measurement Systems and Equipment is completed before undertaking this Unit and that Instrument and Control Maintenance Practice: Process Measurement Equipment (Pressure, Flow and Temperature) is completed in conjunction with this Unit.
Learning Objectives :
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Outline the function and operation of process measurement equipment.
- Outline typical signs of fault, damage, wear and corrosion in process measurement equipment.
- Describe typical routine maintenance requirements of process measurement equipment.
- Equipment – process measurement equipment.
- Routine maintenance techniques for process measurement equipment.
- Technical information and guidelines.
Teaching methods :
- The course will be delivered by means of classroom lectures.
